A question I hear often is:
“When is the right time to downsize your home?”
And the first thing I share is—there isn’t one “right” time.
After decades in real estate, I’ve helped clients through all kinds of transitions, and there is very little I haven’t experienced.
For some, the timing comes when maintaining the home feels like more than they want.
For others, it’s about wanting a simpler lifestyle or planning ahead.
And sometimes—after exploring options—clients decide not to move at all.
That’s an important part of the conversation.
Downsizing is not just a real estate decision—it’s a life decision.
There’s also an emotional side. A home represents years of memories, and taking the time to move through that thoughtfully is important.
My role is to guide, advise, and support you so you can make the decision that feels right for you.
I believe people are smart enough to make their own decisions—you just need the right information.
