Oh statistics, the beauty of them can be a curse, as we rely too much on what they say. My effort to give you accurate information with the same data each month is because the criteria is the same for a fair and valid comparison of those statistics. SO While July 24 saw a Median price decrease in Clayton, Concord, and Martinez…with Walnut Creek increasing 10.9%. August shows Clayton, Concord and Walnut Creek are up 7.1%, 1.5% and 9.8% respectively. We are going in the right direction. AND ALL cities' list to sale price was 100%! All Cities show over 30% of properties reducing their prices before receiving an offer. SO price right from the get go, is as important as ever.
